What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing racket sports in the world. Played with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball, Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis into a unique sport that is both easily accessible and tactically demanding.

The court is smaller than a tennis court – one tennis facility can accommodate four Pickleball courts. In the US, Pickleball already has over 36 million active players. In Germany, the community is growing rapidly – with the DPB as the central driving force.
